Hi! I'm Octavia, an electrical engineer and local tutor serving Poway and North County.

I graduated from Cal State San Marcos with a degree in electrical engineering, and throughout college I tutored students across North County — San Marcos, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, Encinitas, and surrounding areas — including at the Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad. I've been tutoring since high school, working with students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds to build confidence in math, science, and STEM subjects.

I now work full-time as an electrical engineer and keep tutoring because I love sharing what I know and helping students sharpen their problem-solving skills.

My goal is to help students understand challenging concepts and build the confidence to succeed on their own. I'd love to help your student grow!

Terms and Conditions

  • Payment

    Payments are made in advance to confirm your booking. Sessions are unable to be scheduled or held without payment.

  • Cancellation & Rescheduling

    Cancellations and missed sessions are non-refundable. Rescheduling is allowed with at least 48 hours’ notice. If I need to cancel for any reason, you may choose between a full refund or rescheduling for a later date.
