Hi! I'm Octavia, an electrical engineer and local tutor serving Poway and North County.

I graduated from Cal State San Marcos with a degree in Electrical Engineering, and I've been tutoring since high school. Throughout college, I worked with students across North County — San Marcos, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, Encinitas, and surrounding areas — including at the Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad. I've tutored students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds, helping them build confidence in math, science, and STEM subjects.

I now work full-time as an electrical engineer and keep tutoring because I love sharing what I know and helping students sharpen their problem-solving skills.

My goal isn't just to help students understand challenging concepts — it's to help them build the foundation and confidence to tackle problems on their own. I'd love to help your student succeed!

  • Payment

    Payments are made in advance to confirm your booking. Sessions are unable to be scheduled or held without payment.

  • Cancellation & Rescheduling

    Cancellations and missed sessions are non-refundable. Rescheduling is allowed with at least 48 hours’ notice. If I need to cancel for any reason, you may choose between a full refund or rescheduling for a later date.
